RUA FRAMING:
Our custom framer, Stacy Scull, is in the gallery on Monday and Tuesday from 10am - 6pm. Call her for an appointment outside of her regular days.   Her frame shop is located in the gallery.

We have gift items and local, Charleston children's books featuring Hermy the Hermit Crab.

The Islands Art Gallery & Framing, located in the Piggly Wiggly Center at 1985 Folly Road, was founded by a group of local artists from the Folly Beach Art and Crafts Guild and Charleston Artists Guild in 2005.  Our goal was to rent shop space to display and sell our local artwork.  We operate as a co-op, where each member pays monthly rent for wall space.  The artist receives 90% of his/her sales at the end of each month.  Those who are able take turns "sitting' in the gallery to avoid labor costs.  Our expenses are minimal.   Some of us teach painting lessons and the students pay the gallery.  We host receptions every other month to promote new artists and attract new customers.  We host fundraisers for the American Cancer Society and My Sister's House. 

 

We are always seeking new members.  Wall space is priced at $45 for 4' x4', $80 for 4' x 8', and $150 for 8' x 8' per month. 

We will host your trunk show at the gallery.   The gallery would keep 10% of your sales for that evening.  Please contact the gallery for more info at 843-795-4278.
